General Overview
Discover OBYA (“we”, “us”, “our”) curates premium group travel experiences, including return charter flights, cultural excursions, and lifestyle packages. By booking a package, each traveller (“you”, “the client”) agrees to the terms outlined below.
Packages & Payment
Packages are available in three tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold, each including a return flight and specific inclusions per tier.
- A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- The remaining balance is due no later than 1st December 2025.
- No refunds will be available for any payments made after this date.
- If full payment is made upon booking, the traveller will secure the initial release price for their selected package.
- Travelers opting for partial payment will be booked under the second release price for the chosen package.
- All prices are in GBP and inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Booking Confirmation & Documents
- Travelers are responsible for valid passports (minimum 6 months validity), visas (if applicable), and health documents required for entry into Ghana.
- Discover OBYA will not be liable for denied boarding due to incomplete or invalid travel documentation.
Cancellations & Refunds
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
- Refunds will be processed as follows:
- Within 30 days before departure: 50% refund of total balance paid.
- From 1st December 2025 until flight departure: No refund available.
- Refunds will be processed within 30 days of written confirmation of cancellation.
- Refunds for any add-ons or optional activities will be at Discover OBYA’s discretion.
Changes to Itinerary
Discover OBYA reserves the right to make reasonable changes to flight schedules, hotels, excursions, or other components in the interest of safety, logistics, or local regulations.
Liability & Responsibility
Discover OBYA acts as a travel organizer and is not liable for the actions, omissions, or failures of charter operators, hotels, local service providers, or external vendors.
- Travelers are encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance.
- Discover OBYA assumes no responsibility for delays, cancellations, or losses.
Health & Safety
Travelers must be in a fit condition to travel and participate in all planned activities. Examples of potential health or safety issues include undisclosed medical conditions, allergies, or climate-related issues. Travelers must comply with crew and health regulations.
Behaviour & Conduct
All guests must act respectfully towards staff, fellow travelers, and locals.
- Intoxication or disruptive behaviour due to alcohol or substances is prohibited onboard chartered
flights.
Add-ons & Upgrades
Optional add-ons vary per package and may include private Pilates sessions, gym memberships, hotel or Airbnb upgrades, cultural day trips, and private transfers.
Luggage & Airport Guidelines
- Bronze: 1 x 20kg checked bag
- Silver: 2 x 20kg checked bags
- Gold: 2 x 20kg checked bags + 1 x 5kg cabin bag
Force Majeure
Discover OBYA shall not be held responsible for failure to deliver services due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, pandemics, or government-imposed travel restrictions.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, and any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Ghanaian courts.
